Information the site may process

Hosting providers, browsers, content-delivery services, and basic analytics tools may process standard access data such as IP address, visit time, browser and device type, referring page, pages viewed, and approximate region. This data supports security, troubleshooting, traffic measurement, and site improvements. The site currently has no accounts, comments, mortgage applications, or document uploads.

Optional mortgage-rate alerts

If you opt in to a rate alert in the companion app, the service processes an Expo push token, selected loan type, target rate, language, update time, and—after an alert is sent—the notification time and observed rate. The subscription is stored with Upstash Redis so the scheduled alert service can evaluate the target. Expo processes the push token and notification delivery under its own terms.

Alert records remain until an unsubscribe request deletes the token or the service removes records that are no longer needed. The alert feature does not request a name, Social Security number, income document, bank account, or mortgage application. Disabling an alert in the app sends the deletion request.

Google ads, cookies, and similar technologies

Google AdSense is disabled unless the production site explicitly enables advertising after its review and release checks. When AdSense is enabled, Google, advertising partners, and other third parties may place or read cookies in your browser and may use web beacons, IP addresses, or other identifiers to serve, limit, measure, and improve ads. Google and its partners may serve personalized or non-personalized ads.

Consent choices and browser controls

Before advertising is enabled for visitors in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, Switzerland, or another region where consent is required, the production site must publish a Google-certified consent message with options to consent, decline, or manage choices. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser. Site content remains readable when cookies are disabled, though advertising or measurement may not work normally.

Sharing, external links, and retention

The site does not sell personal mortgage information and does not request Social Security numbers, income files, or bank details. Hosting, Upstash, Expo, advertising, and analytics providers may process the limited data described above under their own policies. Links to FRED, Freddie Mac, ICE, the Federal Reserve, and other outside sites are governed by those operators. Security logs and aggregate measurements are retained under the normal schedules of the relevant service providers.

Children and policy changes

The site is intended for a general audience researching U.S. mortgage markets, is not directed to children under 13, and does not knowingly collect personal information submitted by children. This page and its update date will change if site features, advertising services, or data practices materially change.
